Visit Lancaster Cemetery

Victorian cemeteries were designed to be visited by the living. Walk the grounds, hear nature’s sounds, and enjoy a bit of peaceful solitude away from the hustle and congestion of the surrounding city.

Hours

Although our gate is always open, our grounds are only open from dawn to dusk. Visits after sunset are only allowed during special events hosted by the cemetery.

Events and Tours

We’ve postponed all summer 2020 events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re encouraging private visits, walks, and picnics done at social distance. We’re eager to see all our friends and neighbors once all this has passed. We’re sad to miss a season of events, but we don’t want to drum up additional burial business by hosting events before it is safe.

Private tours are available by appointment.
